The original base that came with my artificial tree measured a whopping 24 inches in diameter. Finding a basket large enough to accommodate that size would have been both difficult and expensive. My large baskets were all between 18 and 19 inches, so I needed to find a replacement tree stand with a diameter of 18 inches or less. For example, this option from Amazon would be a perfect fit.

- Place the Tree Stand Inside the Basket: Simply drop the new, smaller tree stand into the basket. That’s it!
